An Israeli occupation court on Thursday sentenced two Palestinian children from Occupied Jerusalem to house arrest and steep fines.

14-year-old Yazen Faroukh and 12-year-old Youssef Hijazi, from Jerusalem’s town of Silwan, south of al-Aqsa Mosque, were sentenced to house confinement and ordered to pay 2,000 shekels each to be released from Israeli custody.

Both minors were arrested by the Israeli forces in the morning and subjected to intensive interrogation in an Israeli detention center in Occupied Jerusalem.
