Lena Jarboni, 34, from Buttof village inside the Green Line, was arrested since 2004 and sentenced to 17 years on charges of helping resistance elements. She spent 11 years behind Israeli bars where she suffers from swelling in her feet and severe and endless headache. Lina has undergone a surgery. The Israeli authorities refused to release her in Wafa al-Ahrar prisoners exchange deal.

Lina Jerboni still suffers from the effects of a surgery she underwent six months ago, as she suffers from problems in her feet and needs medical shoes, human rights sources said.

Lena suffers a long with 13 Palestinian female prisoners harsh detention conditions in Hasharon prison due to the IPS deliberate medical negligence, ill-treatment, humiliating strip search, and ban on family visits.

Palestinian female prisoners in Hasharon jail are suffering from different diseases and need treatment, while the prison administration in Hadharon prison has continued its policy of medical neglect, baning the entry of blankets despite the extreme cold spell and harsh weather conditions

It is worth to mention that 13 Palestinian female prisoners are still held in Hasharon prison suffering very difficult detention conditions due to the IPS deliberate medical negligence, ill-treatment, humiliating strip search, and being deprived of family visits.
