Palestinian prisoner Mohamed Sayareh suffered very difficult health condition where he suffers from inflammation of nerves since 2004, knowing that his leg was broken while being investigated in Israeli investigation center in 2003.
After his visit to Negev prison, Palestinian Prisoners Society's lawyer confirmed that Sayareh's leg is threatened to be amputated, noting that he is forced to pay for his medical treatment costs, nearly 4000 Shekels per month.
Sayareh needs to undergo a surgery that would cost up to 30 thousand dollars. His family confirmed that he has been transferred a week ago to Soroka hospital after suffering bleeding where he didn't receive any treatment but painkillers.
Sayareh, from al-Khalil, was arrested in 2003 and sentenced to 14 years.
